How did you first hear of Evanescence? What did you think of them?

I first heard of them when they released Bring me to life as a single. It blew me away:!: I then brought the album as soon as it came out and from then on i was hooked bounce

Same thing here...I became a fan when I first heard the song Bring Me To Life. The lyrics are so meaningful to me at that time. I looked for any info about them on the net and looked for a place where I can buy their album ASAP.

As for me, i think that the video clip of Bring Me to Life that tends to make me into liking Evanescence by which I got attracted to Amy Lee's voice and her personality.. Cool

I was intrigued so much with My Immortal, but never really got their CD. I just thought they were really cool. then for Christmas, my cousin got me the Fallen CD and I couldn't stop looking at it. then I listened to the whole thing through like 15 times and just completely fell in love with them!

It was a friend who lent me the Fallen album, i fell in love with Amy's voice and the music behind it too.

I saw the video Bring Me To Life and was like cowool words and video. I liked the sound, of course like most of you it was Amy that attracted me. Me and my friend from middle scool used to sing it in class being disruptive and cute.
