Mine is Flowers in the attic by VC. Andrews. It's based on a true story and it makes me cry like a baby every time i read it. I recommend you give it ago if you've never read it before because i think it's amazing

Mine is actually a series. It's called the "Grey Griffins" books. Its about one boy who has a magical book and releases all kinds of evil, magical creatures into the world. The monsters start destroying the town that the boy lives in and he has to stop it.
